The Church Office will be CLOSED on Monday, April 21st
in Celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This year we will be doing a buffet with four main entrees, a fruit salad and various pastries.
Breakfast will be served at 7:15 am & 9:45 am. A sign-up sheet is located in the Narthex.

Sunday School Schedule REMINDER: There will be NO CLASSES on April 20th. We wish everyone a very Happy Easter! There will be classes on April 27th and May 4th and 11th. Registration forms for the 2014-2015 Sunday School year will be mailed out shortly to all currently enrolled families. Please take a few minutes to look these over and return them to the church. Registration forms will be available shortly in the narthex for all new students. We have classes for all children aged 3 (and completely potty-trained) through 8th grade. High school students are encouraged to participate in the youth Sunday School classes, which meet at the same time. ~Angela Arndt, Sunday School Superintendent

Time, Talent & Asset Survey: Attention everyone with gifts. The weekend of April 26-27 you will have the opportunity to let your gifts be known. After the worship services, plan to take a few minutes and fill out a Time, Talent & Asset Survey at the St. Andrew Gift Fair. Those not able to join us for the Gift Fair will be contacted separately to fill out a survey. Thank you in advance.

Prayer Buddy Program Reception: Just a quick reminder that the Prayer Buddy Program Reception is Sunday, May 18th at 9:45. We have had a wonderful year with our new “No Longer a Secret” Prayer Buddy Program and are looking forward to seeing all the kids with their Buddies at the Reception. There will be light refreshments and time to spend chatting. You will also have the opportunity to sign-up to be a Buddy for next year’s program. Thanks to all the kids, Buddies, and parents who have helped make this program a success!

Youth Updates:
We have several youth that will be attending Lutherlyn the week of July 6th. They are in the 6-8th Grade. It would be great if we could get a few more youth in that group. If you are interested, please contact Kasey Nicol. We will be putting the deposit down sometime in April.

God’s Good Gifts: Bible Study and Card Making: Mondays from 7-8:30pm. Each session will include Bible Study, prayer, fellowship and card making! HELP US HELP A CHILD READ! We are delighted to announce that St. Andrew Christian Literacy Outreach Ministry is gaining interest! We are in desperate need of volunteer tutors. The tutor will provide 1 hour of one-on-one tutoring per week at Moon, Coraopolis and Sewickley libraries. The day, time and location may be negotiated between tutor and family. A prospective tutor must obtain a Background Check and Child Abuse Clearances. No former teaching experience necessary. We will train you in the curriculum.
